The Adana P/T71 printing press replaced the earlier P/T48 model in 1971 - hence the "71" designation. The P/T referring to it being either treadle (foot pedal) or power powered.
The P/T71 was virtually identical to the P/T48 with the addition of various guards and a change in gearing.
A slower model was sold to schools and was called the T/P71s
